2009 VBS

VBS this year will teach the kids to rely on Jesus for power and not their own moral abilities! Please keep the upcoming event in prayer. We are scheduled July 17 – 31; 9:30am – 12pm.

Laurie Drobish

Robert E. Drobish, 56, of RR, Factoryville and Overfield Twp., died Sunday at home after being stricken by an apparent heart attack. His wife is the former Laurie Henry. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Feb. 11.Born in Scranton, son of the late Stanley and Anna Noreika Drobish, he was a machine operator for the New Jersey Transit System, Newark, N.J., and served with the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees’ Union. He was formerly employed by the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad and Conrail.He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His life was given special meaning by the recent addition of his grandson. He had a special touch with the barbecue grill, especially his chicken recipe.Also surviving are two sons, Robert Jr. and girlfriend, Alex, Mill City; and Michael, at home; a grandson, Timmy; a brother, Tom and wife, Rose, South Carolina; a niece, Amy; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Mill City Assembly of God Church, Mill City. Pastor James Rugg will officiate. Friends may call from 4 to 7.
